insomniac
Inspired by two great brews, one from Michigan and the other Denmark. It was back in the nineties when microbreweries were mixing everything that they could think of into beer, coffee stout proved to be one of the more popular combinations. There’s something about the marriage of the flavours of roasted barley in Stout and the rich taste of good coffee that just seems perfect. We both bought our fair shares of these respective beers, we moved on to brew our version, inspired by one amazing intense number from Norway.
Brewed to acheive complex flavours – dark organic sugars, oats, some rye and chocolate malts and highly regarded Papua New Guinean Coffee, this stout has an intense fresh roasted joe nose topped with a mocha coloured foam.
